Ngadi Chuli, also known as Peak 29, rises to 7,871 metres in the Mansiri Himal of Nepal, set between Manaslu and Himalchuli. Its climbing history is unusually murky: early claims of a summit were disputed, and the mountain is often listed among the highest peaks whose full ascent record remains uncertain. It is a Himalayan fold peak, formed by the collision of the Indian and Eurasian plates. The site rates it grade 5, an extreme classification that assumes a full expedition with supplemental oxygen. Steep and infrequently attempted, it ranks among the quieter high summits along this stretch of the Nepalese Himalaya.
