A classic 2-day ascent of Japan's highest and most iconic volcano via the Yoshida Trail (Fuji-Subaru Line). Departing from the 5th Station at 2,305m, trekkers spend the first day climbing through volcanic switchbacks and the cloud layer to an overnight mountain hut at 3,250m. Day two begins before dawn to reach the 3,776m summit crater rim for the legendary Goraiko sunrise. The two-day format allows proper pacing and dramatically reduces altitude sickness risk compared to a single-day push.

A classic 2-day ascent of Japan's highest and most iconic volcano via the Yoshida Trail (Fuji-Subaru Line). Departing from the 5th Station at 2,305m, trekkers spend the first day climbing through volcanic switchbacks and the cloud layer to an overnight mountain hut at 3,250m. Day two begins before dawn to reach the 3,776m summit crater rim for the legendary Goraiko sunrise. The two-day format allows proper pacing and dramatically reduces altitude sickness risk compared to a single-day push.
Day 1: 5th Station to 8th Station Mountain Hut¶
