Kunyang Chhish (7852m)

5

Kunyang Chhish Pakistan में 7852 मीटर की ऊँचाई पर स्थित है, Karakoram का हिस्सा, Asia. इस चोटी को Fold Mountain के रूप में वर्गीकृत किया गया है।

Kunyang Chhish is a 7,852-metre giant of the Hispar Muztagh in the Pakistani Karakoram, the second-highest peak of that subrange after Distaghil Sar. Its steep, avalanche-raked faces and long ridges have made it a byword for difficulty and danger, and several attempts met with fatal accidents before the summit was first reached in 1971. It is a fold mountain of the Karakoram, lifted by continental collision. The site assigns it grade 5, its most demanding rating, fitting for a remote and hazardous high-altitude climb. Ascents are rare, and the mountain endures as one of the range's more formidable objectives.
