Pindus Mountains

The Pindus Mountains are the spine of mainland Greece, running 160km through Epirus and Thessaly with peaks reaching 2,637m at Smolikas. The range is characterized by deep gorges, forests, and traditional stone villages. Vikos Gorge within the Pindus is one of Europe's deepest canyons.
