Patagonian Andes

The Patagonian Andes at South America's southern tip contain some of Earth's most technically demanding rock and ice climbing. The towers of Torres del Paine and Cerro Torre demand world-class alpinism. The notoriously unpredictable Patagonian weather defines the climbing culture. Best season is December through March.
