Atlas Mountains

The Atlas Mountains span 2,500km across Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia, rising to 4,167m at Toubkal. A geologically complex range formed by the collision of Africa and Eurasia, the High Atlas receives winter snowfall and supports Berber communities at altitude. Toubkal sees thousands of climbers annually.
