A classic 2-day ascent of Japan's highest and most iconic volcano via the Yoshida Trail (Fuji-Subaru Line). Departing from the 5th Station at 2,305m, trekkers spend the first day climbing through volcanic switchbacks and the cloud layer to an overnight mountain hut at 3,250m.
